I had an epic trip down to the Everglades/Flamingo area last month with Capt. Steven Tejera, and good friend Steve Dougherty of Florida Sportfishing Magazine. The trip was overwhelmingly inspiring and I had to get on the canvas to depict this everglades underwater scene. We caught over a dozen reds, Snook, Trout and Sheepshead all day! Capt. Tejera knows the area like the back of his hand having grown up on those waters.
